Clear and Relaunch –The First 5 Steps

Have you ever had a wake-up call where you say – this isn’t working – It’s time to clear things out and make a change? Whether it comes from a quiet voice inside or on the heels of struggle that has finally come to a head, you know you need to follow your instincts.

It can be life changing when you heed the call. Having done so myself, both personally and professionally, I am teaching what I know works. The hardest part was getting past my own resistance.

In two short workshops on Nov. 2nd and 3rd  from 11-2,  you will explore how to break out of old patterns and reestablish yourself in ones that enhance your greatest potential. It utilizes the transformation principles that govern change and includes all the materials you need to conduct your own clearing/cleansing ceremony at home, something I’ve learned from my study in Ghana.

Get the information and support you need. Now that I’ve done it, I can say I have the life of my dreams!

HERE IS A REVIEW OF THE FIRST 5 STEPS COVERED ON DAY ONE:

WHAT IS CALLING TO YOU TO  CLEAR OUT?

Before any change can happen, it’s important to clearly identify what needs to be removed from your field of experience. Whether it’s a bad experience, a habit, a pattern of thought, a relationship or a career path, the distress you’ve experienced has created residue in your system that has to be cleared out before you are ready to bring in something new.

So often we go from one thing to another without recognizing that we are dragging the old patterns that got us into situations right along with us. Real change means that we clearly recognize the patterns at a deep level. It’s not just about changing jobs or getting a new partner; there is deeper work that needs to be done.

 IMPACT ON MIND, BODY, SPIRIT

How has the situation you know needs to be changed impacted you? This includes examining its effect on your mind, body and your soul. Each of these levels of awareness guides us in distinct and important ways. Consider each one:

Our mind’s thoughts are a key indicator that something needs to change. If negativity, rumination, depression, anxiety, or anger have become constant companions, they are the alert signals that it’s time to make a change. Constant negative thought patterns that keep you trapped are significantly important.

Our body forces us to pay attention to the need for change with health problems. Common issues that surface are high blood pressure, digestive problems, sleep or eating disorders, back pains or immune system issues. Treating these symptoms with medications doesn’t address the root cause and they’ll continue.

Your soul’s way of sending distress signals is with an empty hallow feeling and a sense of being adrift.  It often means you’re not connected to your true self. Pay attention. Distracting yourself with endless work, activity or destructive patterns will backfire. The disconnectedness will still be there.

WHAT IS YOUR SOUL’S PERSPECTIVE?

When you catch a glimpse of your full potential, it’s much easier to find the courage to make a change. I’m not talking about the traditional win, win, be successful model, I’m talking about your soul satisfying potential. Yes, they can be different.

When your soul’s perspective of what is good for you matches up to your physical reality, then you are on the right path. The joyousness of the right path is undeniable. There is a process for discovering this. In class, we’ll use a guided mediation to help you find your vision of your best self.

RAISE YOUR EXPECTATIONS

Once you’re clear on the specific area of change, the next steps are to mentally prepare yourself for the change. Yes, it’s a mental exercise. Change will not occur until we have made a shift in our consciousness.  I call it raising the bar. Until you have raised your own expectations for yourself, you can easily fall back into the old pattern.  It may be a new day, but it’s the same story.

Creating a new vision for yourself is the biggest step. This will be the template for the work that is done in the second part of the course!

CREATE A CEREMONY TO CLEAR

To sanctify the change process you want to launch, it’s helpful to use a ritual.  Joseph Campbell, whose life work focused extensively on myth and ritual, says that the point of a ritual is to “throw you out” of your usual experience. I discovered this in powerful rituals in Ghana. They create a mental, physical and spiritual shift to embrace change.

Borrowing on my experience in Ghana, I will give everyone in the workshop the materials they need to create a purification ritual to do at home. It will help shift your energy, clarify your intention and prepare you to “Relaunch” your transformation in the second part of the course. Stay tuned for those details next week!

Can you relate to this? Having experienced this change process in several areas of my life, I am excited to share my knowledge based on ancient wisdom traditions. The workshop is Nov. 2 and 3rd from 11-2 at CENTERED. To register call Centered at  859-721-1841 or go to this  Link for Registration Here .
